Author's Note

This story is a work of complete fiction.

While it draws inspiration from Hindu mythology, ancient philosophies, symbols, and cultural motifs, every character, event, power system, and narrative choice in this book is entirely imagined. Any resemblance to real-world beliefs, deities, rituals, or historical events is purely creative and not intended to offend, misrepresent, or reinterpret religious faith.

This is not a simple tale.

It is not a story meant to be rushed.

At its heart, this is a life journey—the journey of a soul that begins as a broken boy, grows into a man shaped by love, loss, and responsibility, and slowly walks toward something greater than himself.

It is a story about:

Rebirth and second chances

Family, both by blood and by choice

Power that is earned, not inherited

Love that heals without demanding perfection

And the quiet cost of being “chosen”

The world of Deva is vast and layered. Characters will enter slowly, histories will unfold over time, and truths will not always be revealed when expected. Some arcs focus on action and war, others on romance, politics, friendships, grief, and growth. Every relationship—main or side—has purpose in this journey.

This story does not glorify power for the sake of domination.

It questions it.

It does not celebrate divinity as superiority.

It explores it as responsibility.

Most importantly, it is about a soul that never sought to be a god—only a place to belong.

Thank you for stepping into this world.

Take your time.

The journey is long, but it is meant to be walked slowly.
